Thyroid Webinar Updates Series 2026

Dear IES Colleagues,

We are hoping to organise a series of online webinars for updates in thyroid disease in
2026. There are some new and emerging techniques in thyroidology (ablative therapy,
molecular analysis in thyroid nodules, active surveillance of micro-PTC) and major new
guidelines being produced in 2025/2026 (thyroid cancer, thyroid disease in pregnancy, assay interference, thyroid emergencies), so we feel an update on the latest thyroid research and clinical guidance would be welcome. The IES are supportive of this.

We plan a series of webinars in 2026, perhaps occurring every 3 months, all of which will be multidisciplinary and involve international speakers.
We very much welcome colleagues to join the organising committee for these webinars. If you are interested, please get in touch (Carla.moran@ucd.ie).

Yours sincerely,
