Dear IES Members,
The ESE is pleased to share that the EndoCompass Research Roadmap: Directions for the Future of Endocrine Science was published recently by the European Society for Endocrinology (ESE) and the European Society for Paediatric Endocrinology (ESPE).
The supplement is published in the European Journal of Endocrinology and will also appear in Hormone Research in Paediatrics in due course. You can read it here.
This landmark initiative identifies key research priorities across endocrine specialties and cross-cutting areas, offering a framework to guide future funding, policy and collaboration.
It is intended as a practical resource for researchers, clinicians, and policy advocates alike.
Endocrine conditions remain among Europe’s most pressing and underfunded health challenges. EndoCompass is a step toward changing that, by aligning research, highlighting unmet needs and boosting the visibility of hormone-related health issues.
We encourage you to read, use and share this important resource. For example:
-
Cite the Roadmap in funding proposals and papers
-
Include it in presentations and strategies
-
Share with your teams and institutions
-
Advocate for national policy support and funding
ESE and ESPE have provided a Toolkit with resources and materials to help spread the word about EndoCompass. This includes:
-
The EndoCompass logo (and guidelines)
-
Infographic with key messages about EndoCompass
-
Social media graphics
-
Press release template
-
Presentation slides to adapt and use in meetings
You can find the Toolkit here.
More information about the EndoCompass project can be found here: www.ese-hormones.org/
