Professor Barry Ferriss

It is with great sadness we announce the death of Prof. Barry Ferriss on 24th February 2024. He was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Irish Endocrine Society in 2018. He also gave the Nordisk lecture in 1986. Barry remained an active member, a regular contributor and an attendee at the meetings throughout his career. He will be sadly missed. On behalf the membership of the Irish Endocrine Society, we would like to extend our sincerest condolences to Harriett, his family, friends and colleagues.
