Many thanks to all those involved in the recent 46th Annual Meeting of The Irish Endocrine Society held from 11th and 12th November 2022. It was a very well attended events with very high numbers attending in-person and also on the online platform

46th Annual Meeting of The Irish Endocrine Society Prize Winners

The winner of the 2022 O’Donovan medal is Cliona O’Donnell for her oral presentation entitled ‘The Effect of Treatment with a Glucagon-like-peptide-1 Analogue on Metabolic Activity in Adipose Tissue: data from a proof-of-concept PET-CT study’.

The winner of the 2022 Montgomery medal is Robert Lyons for his poster entitled ‘The successful use of a MiniMed 780G insulin pump containing Teriparatide to treat symptomatic hypoparathyroidism in a patient with Barakat Syndrome’.
