Of note – the sign-in desk at the meeting is being manned by an events management company this year, rather than an IES committee member. Anybody who shows up who has not registered in advance will have their membership status checked and if they are not active members, they will be charged 90 euro to attend the meeting.
Gala dinner:
This year’s IES gala dinner will take place in the Kingsley Hotel Cork at 20.30 on Friday November 13th, preceded by a drinks reception at 19.30. When you register for the meeting you will receive an email inviting you to purchase a dinner ticket. These are 90 euro per person. Early purchase is advisable to avoid disappointment!
Abstracts:
The list of accepted abstracts, as well as a draft programme for the meeting, will be circulated very soon. For those who are awarded poster presentations – the poster should be put up on the morning of Friday November 13th and left up for the duration of the meeting. Velcro adhesive will be provided. For those who are awarded oral presentations – you will be asked to submit your slides to the event management company in advance of the meeting – please liaise with Karen O’Neill (sales@excellentchoice.ie).
I hope that as many of you as possible can attend what promises to be an excellent meeting.
