It is with great sadness we announce the death of Prof. Gerard Tomkin on 12th July 2023. He was a founding member of the Irish Endocrine Society and a past president of the Irish Endocrine Society. Gerard remained an active member and a regular contributor and attender at the meetings including the most recent annual meeting in November 2022. He will be sadly missed.
