Many thanks to all those involved in the 47th Annual Meeting of The Irish Endocrine Society held from 24th and 25th November 2023 in Sligo. It was a very well attended events with high numbers registered and attending the meeting. The local organiser was Siobhan Bacon<\/strong> whose leadership organising the meeting is appreciated.<\/p>\n

The Irish Endocrine Society Lifetime Achievement award was awarded to Professor Patrick Bell<\/strong> with an introduction from Clare McHenry. A moving tribute to Professor Gerald Tomkin<\/strong> was delivered by John Barragry.<\/p>\n
